Healthcare: A Fundamental Right for All

Access to healthcare is a fundamental right for every human being. Unfortunately, millions of people in Pakistan live below the poverty line, and only a fraction of them can afford quality medical treatment. Recognizing this disparity, our organization, the ASBF Memorial Welfare Society, has taken up the noble cause of providing free healthcare services to the local community.

Our efforts have included the following initiatives:

  1. General Medical Check-Up Camps: We have organized several general medical check-up camps, where thousands of individuals received free health assessments.

  2. Hepatitis A, B, and C Diagnosis Camp: These specialized camps aim to detect and manage hepatitis cases, ensuring early intervention and treatment.

  3. Eye Treatment Camps: Nine eye treatment camps were conducted, providing free eye check-ups, spectacles, and performing over thousands successful cataract operations.

  4. Medical Equipment Donations: We have contributed essential medical equipment, including wheelchairs, beds, stretchers, and water dispensers, to various government hospitals in Tibba Sultanpure, Khanewal, Melsi, Multan.

  5. COVID-19 Response: During the pandemic, we distributed free masks, sanitizers, and food to thousands of people. Additionally, we supported the establishment of a quarantine center (Tibba Sultanpure, Danish Public School in the Vehari district. We bear all expenses in establishing the center.

Future Endeavors: Insha"Allah, the ASBF will continue its health-focused endeavors in the area, guided by our manifesto. Our vision includes the establishment of a charity hospital, where individuals can receive quality treatment without any financial burden.

Together, we strive to ensure that healthcare remains accessible to all, regardless of their economic circumstances.

Illuminating Education with ASBF: Empowering Students

The ASBF Education Light Program has been making a significant impact in hundreds of regional government schools for both girls and boys in Tibba Sultanpur Tehsil, Mailsi District, Vehari. Recognizing the financial challenges faced by many students, we have taken proactive steps to ensure that education remains accessible to all.

Our initiatives include:

  1. Essential Supplies Distribution:

    • Uniforms, school bags, notebooks, and other essential items have been distributed to students who were struggling due to financial constraints. These provisions serve as a beacon of hope for children who were on the verge of giving up.

    • We firmly believe that no child should be denied an education due to economic hardships.

  2. Infrastructure Enhancements:

    • Beyond supplies, we have contributed significantly to the infrastructure of government schools.

    • First aid boxes have been provided to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

    • Science labs have been established, fostering curiosity and practical learning.

    • A filtration plant ensures access to clean water, promoting health and hygiene.

  3. Expanding Horizons:

    • We recognize the importance of digital literacy and vocational skills.

    • In the near future, ASBF plans to establish a computer lab, where students can learn essential digital skills.

    • Courses in freelancing and graphic designing will complement traditional education, empowering students for the modern world.

At ASBF, we remain committed to our vision: a world where education knows no boundaries, and every child has the opportunity to learn and thrive.

Addressing Hunger in Pakistan: A Call to Action

According to the World Food Program, an estimated 80 million people in Pakistan grapple with hunger. This distressing reality has been further exacerbated during the pandemic, as a substantial number of our fellow citizens have faced acute hunger.

Key Challenges:

  • Undernourishment: Approximately 17% of Pakistan’s population suffers from undernourishment. Among the most vulnerable are children.

  • Child Stunting: Nearly 40% of children under the age of five experience “stunting,” characterized by low height due to inadequate nutrition.

  • Child Wasting: Seven percent of young children fall into the category of “child wasting,” where their weight is significantly below the average for their age due to severe undernourishment.

  • Child Mortality: Shockingly, 6.5% of children do not survive beyond the age of five.

The Vision: Hunger-Free Society: In response to this crisis, the initiative known as “Hunger-Free Society” has emerged. Its mission is twofold:

  1. Eliminating Hunger: The goal is to eradicate hunger by ensuring that no one goes to bed hungry.

  2. Food Security: The initiative aims to provide food security for all, regardless of economic circumstances.

In an era marked by inflation and economic challenges, the act of feeding a hungry person even a single meal becomes a profound reward. Let us join hands to create a Pakistan where no one suffers from hunger, and where every citizen has access to nourishing food.

Empowering Youth Through Positive and Healthy Activities

Attracting young minds toward positive and healthful pursuits is crucial for their personal growth and the betterment of society. The ASBF (Ama Sedan Baba Fazal) has consistently championed this cause, fostering a culture of encouragement and support for youth across various game events in the region.

Chairman ASBF, Haji Fayyaz Hussain Thaheem, has long held the belief that our youth are the bedrock of our nation and society. It is our collective responsibility to nurture them both mentally and physically, ensuring they emerge as capable leaders and contributors to our country’s progress. By empowering them, we pave the way for a brighter future.

Key Initiatives:

  1. Game Events: ASBF’s active involvement in game events has touched the lives of countless young individuals. Through sports and healthy competitions, we instill discipline, teamwork, and resilience.

  2. ASBF Cricket Academy: In sha Allah, the upcoming ASBF Cricket Academy in Tibba Sultanpur will provide a platform for local youth to showcase their cricketing talent. This endeavor aims to nurture budding cricketers, equipping them with skills that extend beyond the field.

As we move forward, let us continue to invest in our youth, for they hold the promise of a prosperous and harmonious future

Lets join hands and build the nation, together!

Imagine we’re all threads, and when we come together, we create something beautiful—a tapestry of progress. Each person adds their own unique color, representing diversity and shared goals. By uniting, we build a brighter future for everyone.
